We offer a range of online massage courses for residents of Hervey Bay including the HLT52021 Diploma of Remedial Massage (mixed delivery) & the HLT42021 Certificate IV in Massage Therapy (mixed delivery). We also offer a variety of online only short massage courses.
How Studying Massage Online in Hervey Bay Works
The NetQ Mixed Delivery course provides the ideal combination of online subjects which can be studied while living in Hervey Bay plus supervised clinical practice and assessments to be done at the nearest NetQ Training Clinic located in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast.
By studying The HTL52021 Diploma of Remedial Massage or HLT42021 Certificate IV in Massage Therapy online, you aren’t required to attend face to face lessons on campus which is normally:
- HLT52021: 2 days per week for 12 months or 1 day a week for 18 months.
- HLT42021: 2 days per week for 6 months or 1 day a week for 12 months
You will however be required to travel to our NetQ clinic on the Sunshine Coast to complete the specified number supervised hands on clinical practice hours in order to meet the requirements of each qualification – and, for students studying the Diploma of Remedial Massage – become eligible for a private provider number (meaning your clients can claim rebates through their private health insurance).
The current clinical hour requirements are:
- HTL52021: 200 hours
- HLT42021: 80 hours
